Because existing construction is often less than perfect, we utilize laser technology and measurement devices to plan and construct our basements. During the design phase, we utilize industry leading software in the development of our plans and layouts. Homeowners can view our designs in dramatic and realistic 3-dimensional interior views.Aspen Basement Company offers free radon testing prior to the start of construction to determine the air quality of your new living space. Before it was passed into law in Colorado, Aspen Basement Company routinely installed carbon monoxide (CO) monitors in our basements, and we continue this practice today. We utilize state-of-the-art low profile Kidde CO monitors and smoke detectors in all of our basements which mount virtually flush with the ceiling and are hard wired with rechargeable batteries.
We use various technologies to improve the construction process and the effectiveness of the final product. During construction we minimize dust in your home through the installation of barriers. Floors are completely covered during the drywall process in order to minimize the migration of fine drywall dust. Homeowner comfort is improved through the use of products such as fireplaces installed with integral blowers and digital wall control pads, soft close drawers on all cabinets, steam showers with flushing capability and digital controls, programmable thermostats which control comfort zones in the home and a wide variety of other technologies.
