Aspen Basement Company recognizes the importance of environmental stewardship for our projects and the communities that we serve. We follow the best practices of the construction and remodeling industry, and we incorporate a number of recycling initiatives in our business.Aspen Basement Company makes every effort to minimize waste and recycle where possible. Our designs are prepared with the most efficient use of materials, and our crews are trained to minimize waste. Construction debris is taken to recycling centers when possible. While Aspen Basement Company installs only new materials in our basements, we do occasionally remove materials that can be salvaged from previously finished basements. Salvaged materials in usable condition are donated or taken to the Denver Habitat for Humanity Home Store (link Habitat for Humanity Home Store to www.habitatoutlet.org). Salvaged materials can then find a second life in another home and funds generated by their resale by Habitat for Humanity support the construction of new homes.
